Redcross Bushfire Appeal Cruise - Sunday 22nd Feb

This cruise is being organised through SAU (Skylines Australia) but word is spreading fast to other clubs and forums, so I think its going to be pretty big.
The more people that can come the better, with all donations going to our fellow Aussies down south who have lost family, friends, pets and homes in the bushfires.
Please show your support by coming along and making a donation. Details as per the SAU(Qld) website are below:

In light of the horror unfolding in victoria as I type I am proposing cruise to raise funds to help the poor buggas left behind to deal with the fallout the cruise will take place on Sunday the 22nd of feb.

Starting Location: Staging point will be at woolly's/macca's carpark at Yamanto, departure time will be 8.30am sharp.

Destination: Lake Moogerah.. (route takes roads through the back of Ipswitch area, very nice drive)

Cruise duration will be about 1.5 hrs driving.

Bring swimmers or go commando in the lake to cool off.

There will be a food vendor at the cruise destination and i will be hitting him up for a dontation of some of his profit garnered by our presence.

Cruise donation of 10 dollars per car will be the price

There will be a number raffles to be won. Both car parts and not.
ALL funds raised off raffles will go to the red cross bushfire appeal

All cars welcome.

Come along and join the cruise will be a good day out

Makes me proud to be an Aussie, with the amount of support the country is giving. Even the flood victims up north want to give their aid money to help.

Can we get some numbers together so the organisers know how many are coming from each club? So far there are 50 odd from SAU, 20 from Boostcruising that i know of, theres also talk of media coverage and sponsors....

FYI, the other clubs attending have numbers upwards of 50 cars combined so far... should be a pretty big day out...
