    Default 22RE woes

G'day guys, i have searched but can't seem to find a real solution for this, i just put a 22re out of an ra60 celica into my rt142 corona, i have done this in the past and just plugged and played, but this time the engine light is on, (code 23 i think?) and it doesn't run at more than only slight throttle pressure. I also tried plugging the afm into the body loom (corona) and then into the engine loom (celica) niether had any affect it didn't even change when i unplugged it altogether. I replaced the afm with one known to be working out of a stock MA61 (slightly different part number but looked identical) this didn't change anything either. According to what i could find code 23 is for the inlet air temp sensor? not sure where this is. Any ideas?? i need to get this running asap..
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

kk cheers mate, so that means thats not the problem then lol 'cos i'v tried two afm's and that didn't change anything. Also i did see this motor running with the ecu and afm i tried initially about 4 days ago in a celica, but now it won't run in my corona.

also my mistake sorry RA65 i thought i might have been mistaken there, and thanks for the link.

I think what i really need is body loom wiring diagrams for the corona and the celica doesn anyone know where i can find these? I have tried a lot of places, but just can't seem to find anything.

it also might not hurt to check for loose pins in the plug. just pull gently on the wires and see if any come out.
so much stuff. so little time.

yeah i'v checked that, does anyone know if the ecu needs to be earthed? of the afm or something? also theres a little plug coming off the engine loom, single wire, i looked in the celica but i don't think theres anywhere it goes, should that be earth maybe?
