if youre going to rally the car wouldnt you want the strength of the R154? id imagine a Wbox would die pretty quickly behind a 1UZ thats being driven quite spiritedly

Nope its not quad cam, different guy altogether. Will see what I can find later on, and its not niteparts either. This plates use original auto bellhousing rather than a new bellhousing.

he has done the LSD but he really despises the auto...im trying to get him to do it becuase I reckon the manual conversion alone would give it another 15rwkw let alone make it way more fun

And Matt, I dont think the Celsior has any clutch pedal holes in the firewall, so you are talking seriously custom to get it done.

That sounds like a good development, I'd be interested in an adaptor plate.

Yeah, you'd have to compare the pedal setup to a Soarer/Supra/etc.
It would have to be similar to one of them.
And then just use the pedals from those and make some brackets.

But, there would have to be a nice flat spot on the firewall, otherwise WST-001 would need to come out.

Thats his listings on Trade Me, trying to get a direct contact. Adaptor plate works with original auto bellhousing. He does modified flywheels or custom ones but I think the custom ones are sourced from Aussie anyway.

Hmm, $200NZD for a 'modified' flywheel... I don't like the word 'modified' being next to the word flywheel.

And $300NZD for an adaptor plate vs $400AUD for a CRS bellhousing... tough call.
It would come down to shipping.

It will be interesting to see the design/quality of the parts, as they don't show anything on trademe.

From what I can gather the flywheels are redrilled and balanced, apparently he has had them tested .

Ok lets settle this. Do not slot flywheels it makes them week and is dangerous they do break!!!!!!!. If you use a 3sgte flywheel just redrill the holes between the original holes as they are further out and unless you are making 400kw this will be fine (note do not weld up old holes) will weaken flywheel and will break. Or just buy a new flywheel you can get them from aussy or we can import them.

I have had them tested eg crack tested and xrayed plus I had them load tested and the results were that the slotted flywheels crack and then break the centre out but the redrilled ones had a break threshold of 180nm less than a flywheel tested on its original bolt holes. But of course our engineers and the money we spent testing and the 40 plus flywheels we have sold and that are currently in service obviously prove nothing to you guys who have probably never even done a conversion. But I supose its easy to just post on a forum when you dont have to back up what you say.

Fair enough, but for piece of mind and a couple of hundred bucks I'd rather get a billet flywheel.
