    hey,

    i have a set of 18RU twin carbs with manifolds, would they make my engine go any better?

    they arn't that type, they are side draft but they are similar style to the SU carb but are made by aisin or something they have a manifold from toyota to suit the 18R single cam motor. has anyone heard of them?

    The twin carb 18R is actually the 18R-B, and they ran twin Aisin SU's.

    The 18R had more power than the aus spec 18R-C, and the 18R-B was the next level again. I don't think you'd get the full advantage of the twins on an 18R-C.

    It'd be easier just to put in an 18RG
