Default FCD--- Here we go again

Ok so ive read, ive searched bla bla

There are so many different opinions on these things its not funny
Make your own, get a hks one, jay car ones dont clamp right voltage etc etc
So i hate to do it but heres another thread about fuel cut defenders lol

    From peoples experience

    Jaycar?

Do these have to be fiddled with to make them work? Is so whats required?

    DIY

People that have made then for a 1jz, what is the best way to do it for max results

    Step by step anyone?

I was hoping to run around 17 psi with mine just unsure which path to take with the FCD

    I hate electrics lol

    Thanks in advance

how did you search and not read my thread dude.... god damn....

    http://www.toymods.net/forums/showth...ght=Turbosmart

Basically to tell you the 100% truth

    1. FCD's work
    2. They are $20 from Jaycar
    3. Unless your a fucking sped you can make them yourself with a low temp soldering iron
    4. they are easy to wire in to ECU (once again unless your a fucking sped)
    5. they work

my turbosmart one did not, my jaycar one did, that is after speaking to wilbo about voltages , but i had a faulty part in mine.

Keep in mind if u search the jaycar site they are called "fuel cut DEFENCERS"

I walked into jaycar, saw "fuel cut defencer".

Then i wondered, is defencer even a word?

    Turns out it is.

Moral of this story is that i should not post half asleep, as this would be one of the most pointless posts you will read.

    Ok one other thing

From what ive found out, the jaycar sort of tapers the voltage off until fuel cut, it dosent cut if off in one go?
