repair slashed tyres?- dam mum!!!

hey mate,

my mum slashed my tyres 3 days ago, i cant fit the jack under the car as its body kit is about 2cm of the ground & ive got to get to sydney to get new tyres again although these ones have only 10kms. so im a bit peed off, but on the bright side, ive got no excuse to not fix everything else. im half way into replacing the timing chain & clutch master cylinder & replacing all the liquids, then rear axle bearing & tyres & hopefully in time for the terrigal cruise

im considering leaving mums car on bricks for a day so i can use her wheels to take mine to sydney, to get new rubber on them. or getting a few mates to help me lift the car to get stands under it

does anyone know if there is a legal way to get he to pay for the tyres?- charge her? court?

can i repair a 1cm slash in the sidewall?

cant fix any sidewall punctures unfortunately.

basically cant repair sidewalls, definately not legally anyway...
can you call cops, report it etc etc, then they should be able to follow it up and you could get your money?

Get a sissor jack like most toyota come with and do one wheel at a time. remove wheels and take to tyre shop.

drive the car onto a few planks of wood that will give you some ground clearance to jack it up, once the wheels are off, throw them threw your mums car windows and ask her if she can take your wheels down to get new tyres, "mum ive already put the wheels in your car"

what would you do if some random slashed your tyres... call the police?

if you know the offenders name and address then that will make their job a lot easyer.

but if you take revenge by stealing the wheels of her own car (even if its just to get your fixed) then you will be a thief too.

sounds to me like either you or your mum (maybe both) should be admitted into some kind of mental institution if you ask me.

i'd be more worried about why my relationship with my mum was that bad that she slashed my tyres to start with rather than the tyres themselves

take tyres back and say they had a slow leak?

you can probably get couple of mates to lift car enough to put a brick under chassis rail, to give enough space for jack to slide in also...

well if you have an engine crane you can use it to lift the car from the radiator support.. just high enough to fit the hydraulic jack under?
