just make sure you match a JDM JZA70 loom to your loom. if they all match then it will work. If not you will need to repin to make it work and also make sure it corresponds with the year the pfc is as their might be slightly different pin outs
Hey People,
Sorry if this is a bit vague but Im pretty new to ecu related shit.
Basically I have a gz20 soarer with a 1jz conversion from a jza70 and I would like to know if this Apexi Power FC which is on ebay from a jzz30 Soarer will be plug and play. The seller reckons the motor and loom in his jzz30 came from a jza70. So all this and throw in the fact I want it to run z20 stuff also what do you think?
Also any thoughts on Turbonetics GT-K 650s?
Cheers
André

Dont they share same looms?
If thats the case it wont work without modification
the powerfc advertised on ebay is for a JZZ30 OR JZX90 only. It will only work with JZZ30 or JZX90 engine looms. (they use the same ECU connections (plugs) which the powerfc also uses.
the JZA70/JZX81 engine loom uses different ECU connections (plugs) However the JZA70/JZX81 powerfc still uses so the the JZZ30/JZX90 casing, apexi / a.p engineering just reprogram the unit and supply a big bright yellow loom converter.
