    Default rebuild plans

i'm thinking maybe the old 4M would do just fine in the MS85 coz its not gonna be anything but a cruiser, so a rebuild's on the cards.
specs are probably gonna be fairly stock with a weber carb, extractors and a good 2.5in exhaust and maybe a bit of port polishing. Keep the auto (4spd overdrive), at least until I find a good W58.
Fix the rust, respray in the original champagne gold, lower it a couple inches over the wire spoke 15's that are already on it, de-rat the interior (which is pretty good apart from the smell), cd player, new speakers, redo all the chrome etc.
Maybe later i'll swap the 4M for a warm 5MGE and find an LSD from an MA61 (unless the IRS LSD won't fit in a live axle F code diff? must research this).
Tips? Advice? Negatory criticisms? All input will be taken on board most gratefully.
    Cheers
    Josh

well, i would but the only ones i can find around the place are ratshit boiled, blown (holey block) or just plain fucked 4Ms and a few cooked 7Ms
been thinking maybe a 7MGE or a non turbo 1JZ but these things cost money and i don't have any unless somebody wants to donate a 5ME to the cause?

just wondering, would a mild 1GGTE pull the car? the reason i ask is i can get one for fuck all and they seem to pull the soarers around alright.
also, would an IRS LSD centre fit in a live axle diff?
    Cheers
