What is the best way to coat these so they don't rust???
Hi guys, due to the popularity of our HSD coilover sleeve kits, we've expanded the range to include two new sizes.
They are 45mm and 55mm.
The default spring rates are as follows:
45mm - 4kg
48mm - 4kg & 5kg
51mm - 4kg
55mm - 6kg Note: due to the size of the sleeve this is the only spring rate we currently have in stock. Different rates are available to order only. Here is an image of the 55mm kit.
Customers can choose an alternate spring rate at no additional charge (stock permitting)
Cheers,

Machined steel is always going to rust. In racing the guys coat things in wd40 pretty regularly to keep the rust away.

Its best to paint over the welded area and WD40 or similar regularly.

Hi
If you are putting something like this together with steel sleeves and alloy nuts you really should use some antiseize and that will stop the corrosion and stop the alloy galling on the steel thread. Its not like you adjust them much once installed. If you adjust them you really need a wheel alignment every time.

all good advice.

If only there was a suitable lubricant that doesn't attract dust & dirt
What about "dri-glide" or a similar teflon based spray product?

What about a wax based lubricant that is in a liquid suspension, apply wet and when it dries you're left with a dry wax protection that won't attract dirt. Wouldn't need reapplication for a long time either.

Just heat the sleeves and dip in ATF so they turn purple before welding your sleeves on .
