I thought i better prepare you Sydney virgins and general westie bogans about driving in sydney.

a) No one drives in sydney.... we sit in traffic.
b) Do not attempt driving between 0600-0930 and 1630-1830, refer to a)
c) Indicators are factory optional extras
d) If chosing to indicate, do so using your middle finger
e) Rear vision mirrors are modified to see the facial expressions clearly of the person tailgating you
f) As above, 3 second rule between cars does not exist
g) Your lane is my lane.... deal with it.
h) Road rage is for victorians who can't deal with sydney driving
i) The roads suck, watch out for the swimming pools, i mean pot holes.
j) Police will follow a modified car for 10 minutes and then give you a 'random' breath test
k) There are school zones, 40km/h during school time.... or i'll break your legs.
l) Avoid bankstown, yagoona and cabramatta at all costs.... don't ask, just do.
m) You must do laps around the rocks on a friday night, go on, you will look cool.
n) Taxi number is 131008 for when your car is impounded for doing laps.
o) There are many road signs.... follow them.
p) The roads can be confusing, in fact there is one section of freeway leading to the harbour bridge where you need to cross 8 freeway lanes to get where you are going sometimes. Again, refer to o)
q) watch out for celica drivers, they are all hairdressers
r) Not wanting to offend, but watch out for asians and old people, and especially old asians. There's a quick way to speed dial your insurance company.

these apply to me for the following reasons :
