'83 Corolla possibilties...

Hi all,
I recently came into the possession of a 1983 Corolla wagon CS. Does anyone have any ideas for possible engine conversions or modifications?
Any input would be much appreciated.

I strongly suggest searching or risk being flamed. Being new hopefully you will get the benefit of the doubt. 4age and 4agze conversions have been covered many times on the old forums http://forums.toymods.org.au/

I did search this forum, it came up relatively inconclusive from my perspective as I am new to Toyotas and am unaware of what engines/models even fit under the bonnet! I've also never worked on a car in my life, and assuming every forum member has would be folly, that's why my question was broad not specific.

Thanx for pointing me in the right direction though!
