    Default will this work??

    hello again everyone,
    i have a question about a manifold i have :

is it going to work properly becuase the runners are all diffrent lengths to the flange? i got told by a mechanic that it would run badly... i have no idea about this sort of thing so im just wondering if anyone on here would be able to shed some light on it before i go and put it onto my car....
    cheers

    woa

it should work alright, but goes against every ideal i know of concerning manifold design. id dare say not to use it

its a long shot, but the only reason i can think of that might begin to explain this design is pulse tuning - perhaps an effort to reduce reversion? though to ignore near every principle when making that manifold, just to preserve a particularly trivial one...

somehow i dont think reversion was in mind when this was made..... hehe... can it do any damage as such to my engine by using something like this?
oh yeah, going on my jzx83 (1j) if that makes any diffrence, which id doubt

Why bother with that POS when ebay manifolds are so cheap and readily available?

possibly no worse than the stock cast manifold, but possibly not any better either.

hope you didnt pay much for it.

hope you have an ECU that will do individual cyl trimming if your planning on using that thing, better off using it for scrap metal in all honesty.

Weld some more pipes onto the head-end and you could make an interesting play-house/maze for a mouse....

    Hi,

Looks like the old bong I made back in high school at metal working class. The teacher was not impressed and it was confiscated.

Good to see it still survives.
