Good Lord, another bloody LS1 conversion

First of all, a word of advice to people: if you suggest something as a joke, then be prepared for somebody to have no sense of humour.

Meet somebody:


This fellow owns, among other things, an MA61. He likes to spend money on his trusty old wedge, on anything and everything that tickles his fancy. The old girl was already sporting a 1JZ, with a few toys attached. Initially, the car came to me to have a Haltech wired in place of the factory box. Then suggestion was to fit a proper sized turbo. Then the idea was to put said turbo on a 2JZ. Then, as a joke, I was silly enough to say 'why not put in a bloody LS1 and a couple of turbos?'



If a picture's worth a thousand words, well, I hope this begins to explain what I've gone and talked myself into here.



On the left you can just see the Turbo 400 that's cost as much as a basic prosthetic leg, along with the converter that should give it a little bit of punch off the line.

Got a few more bits for it today, namely a cam, valve springs, timing chain, etc. Had some more photos, but my PC went pop and left a cloud of smoke behind, = me having to waste time going to computer shop

Just out of curiosity, how wide is the LS1? I was going to put a stock one into a ae71 down here but wasnt sure if it would fit haha?

Narrower then a 1uz which has been done in a AE86.
