guys my bro is going to look at another 20v motor, making him do a compression test, what is the compression suppose to be? i thought it was about 190, am i right? (20v silver)

when my bro got there they did a comp test and apparently it was 240 or thereabouts in each cylinder, seems bloody high (even though they run a comp. ratio od 10.5:1)
so 240 should be about the norm and a bit more i would imagine 250 for a black top!

sounds fine. doesnt matter so much about the actual number, but more that the readings from each cylinder are the same or close to being the same
If the motor has been sitting around unstarted for more than a few months, don't be surprised if the readings are all over the shop, and some are low as 50.
You really need to test the motor when its warm, and after its been run for a while.
