anyone lol
Hello Guys
Just about finshed the wiring and come across a few trickey bits....now the previous 7MGTE had a output from ECU for HEADLIGHT RELAY and AC AMPLIFIER.
Now im using a 7MGE ECU and engine wiring loom from a MX83 cressida only thing cressida ecu outputs to for AC is MAGNETIC cltuch which means ill need to tap into blue wire from magnetic clutch relay other then that the ecu doesnt have wires that tap into AC amp and headlight relay........
Now where is the relay located and if I leave the AC amplifier to ECU and Headlight Relay to ECU what effects will it have

Its purely for extra idle up when headlights/AC is on.
It can be ignored. Look into it again if you have issues with idle at night with the AC on.

peeps on supra mania said to leave that wire hanging and just tap into the magnetic clutch wire and that will send the input into ecu 7MGE. other issue is a triangle style 3 pin plug with violet/white stripe, yellow and red/black green stripe plug thats near the starter intake manifold area....the yellow wire ive check for continity connects to heater VSV also

The yellow wire is just +12v from the GAUGE fuse, and will go to a few things around the place. The heater VSV is one of them.

what could the violet/white and red/black wires be?? they go to a 3 Pin plug hmmmmmmm

If thats the 3 pin plug near the starter/bellhousing, that would have been for the GRANDE electronic speedo. You won't need it for yours.

oh no this is on the 7MGTE wiring loom.....just gonna tap the 3 body plugs , Grey fat, Grey slim, and white plug into cressida loom
1992 - JZA70 STOCK - SOLD
could the 3 pin VIOLET/WHITE stripe, Yellow, Red/BLack Stripe from the 7MGTE loom which runs up to the thin grey plug under the dash be used for the ABS speed sensor...just want to know so I can adapt it into the gte loom...ive got both looms uncovered so I can run the PPS wires and heater VSV wires......
1992 - JZA70 STOCK - SOLD
ABS and PPS wires do not share the common +12v yellow wire (like the VSV does).
They both have dedicated wires going to their respective ecu's.
I made that mistake when I was making the loom in my car.

bugger then...I wonder what type of device resides in that area that uses that triangle 3 pin plug......wires lead up to the body loom and share +12 yellow

I def recall it being on other cars, but honestly can't remember what it was for.

one last question before shes good to try......with the auto wiring that went to the ecu like OD1, OD2, etc etc can I leave it not connected and just tape up the ends.

Which end? ECU end or gbox end?
