funny thing happens when you dont fix problems... they reoccur...
warning to anyone on the M7 near the M2 junction next time it rains... it could get slippery up there
more seriously i think the trapdoors are fucked! either that or they dont work properly, or something retarded. im oil surging on hard left handers badly (down to 25psi) and think its all being held togethr by the accusump buffering! thank god for that

Hmmm...
The 25psi oil pressure issue sounds like a worry. I assume you have got 3/8in (i think) oversize tube to your oil pressure gauge, or a really good electronic gauge? If it is a liquid line gauge and still using the mineature capilliary line supplied by manufacturer the gauge will react extremely slowlyand not alert the driver until too late!
Simply because I am not superman and when the vehicle is needing a hectic steering job then I am most likely studying the road/track very hard - I have installed a 30psi autometer idiot light on my dash. When the BIG RED LIGHT comes on it is time to kill engine instantly (funilly enough it has never come on with engine running since ditching the 355 holden![]()
).
Cheers
autometer procomp elec gauge
only on sever left handers does it very momentarily dip to 25-30psi, and then swings over to 75psi immediately! lol, stupid oil system
i need a dry sump

maybe a lower-cost setup with a scavenge pump that feeds a tank that then feeds into the existing oil pump?
so the right side of the baffling is not working properly? or the oil is sloshing up and getting pushed further up by crank? (past scrapers?)Originally Posted by ed_jza80
or the left gate is not opening and letting oil out?
any breathers on right hand side?
good luck![]()
