hmm not a really common conversion, your talking 18rg?, if so custom engine mounts gearbox mounts etc, as with any engine conversion, 2tg prob a bit easy.
Cheers Trent
I picked up a straight KE35 coupe from the wreckers yesterday morning, and was wondering how hard it would be to drop the warm 18R and 4spd 'box from my Corona into it for track duties?

Nah just an 18R-C with a Falcon carby, cam, shaved head, extractors, no air pump or EGR and a set of pipes, makes around 90rwhp. Pretty much the only reason i asked is because i had my Corona, then my sister crashed it, and now i've got all this stuff lying around that would turn a stripped out KE35 into an absolute weapon. My dad's a dab hand with a welder so fabbing stuff up won't be much of a problem, I was more worried about clearance issues with the taller, longer motor.
Front or rear sump? will need a front sump to fit it in the KE35.

front sump. any reliability issues with the W40 transmission i should know about?
