We won't mention the wagon. That thing is just trouble!

Was an awesome day though. Can't wait for the next one!

The Sti snapped a drive shaft. He got it sorted while the Paton Performance Bro's were pulling apart the wagon in the macca's carpark. I now have 1 speaker working in the stereo and half a dash installed......

Lucky you had those "spare" wires connected to your speakers to get you home

we only got a couple of videos because the camera went flat, but here they are:

    me - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2iwcwoUZSk
it's fairly boring up until the 2min mark

    Nathan - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6HqQgm8qN4
i was that shane was out at the same time as nath, so there are a few glimpses if him in the video.

it was such a great day, i learnt a fair bit about my car.... namely that i could push it abit more than i expected, and that when it does decide to spin, it does it extremly quickly

I might install the new wires with an extra 4-5 metres so I have ample supply for the next thing that that requires speaker wire.

Thanks for organising that Shaneo! It was an awesome day!

shane: re wrx - good to hear, and thanks again for organising.

nerm: MG's got a bit chastised - because there were quite a few of use being enthousiastic, the SAU guys probably got booted because they were just using it as a drift pan - that said, they used it for some kind of 'art' synchronised burnout thing a while back.

Roundy was pulling off some pretty nice slides in the aw11, once he figured out the run wide to get grip onthe dry bit,

very impressive from both of you as it looked difficult to drive in that manner.

next time, purpulor will be sliding.

They have to accrew enough for nose reconstructions as well as feeding his mime family. The dont talk much so they never need much water for their dry mouths.

Figured out? You give me too much credit!

The instructor showed me that line with the idea of being able to link from that corner through to the tight hairpin.

The main advantage was a higher entry speed to hold the slide down the 'back straight', i provoked the slide by stabbing the throttle just before the apex, then just trying to modulate throttle and steering to hold it out.

I have to say i think having SFA power helped in that regard.

Yeah thats why i reckon the purple nurple will love the pan, probably only has about 50-60kw to play with!

I noticed the improvement in both of you as the day went on, your speed increased heaps in particular.

The 750+ pics that were taken are all on their way up at the moment, I've got the huge versions for anyone that wants them, there's some good ones, some crap ones, but i couldn't be bothered sorting them - so they call got resized and will be up in an hour or so.

Should be pics of nearly everyone there. if not two each - Its way too easy to take a heap of pics just by holding the shutter release.
