Good stuff guys, date will be confirmed Monday/Tuesday with 5th Gear and then I'll update the original post with details on how payment can be made to confirm spots and start a list of confirmed participants.

I think we are going to hit the 10 person limit pretty quick, good to see such enthusiasm

OK folks, the poll is showing a unanimous 100% would be happy with Sunday 10 May AM session so that is what we'll go with .

I'll confirm the date with 5th Gear now to secure it and then they'll require a deposit and I'll require payments to confirm spots.

I'll update the first post to reflect the date confirmation and will add further details as they come through. I'll PM those who have shown interest the bank deposit details for securing your place in the next 24 hours.

    Cheers

    Shane.

The reserves list doesn't require up front payment, if someone pulls out before the day the reserve list people will be contacted in the order they are listed and if they can make it and pay when necessary then they get the spot.

Just do it Adam, the more KE's the better!

The info below is from the 5th Gear Motoring Skid Pan Day Info Sheet - Please read.

    Skid pan Course
Information for your day with 5th Gear Motoring
A location map to the Sutton Road Driver Training Complex is on our web site at the following address: http://www.fifthgear.com.au/defensive_directions.php and the course is held on the skid pan to the left as you drive in the gate.
The course duration is 8am to approximately 12:30pm for a morning course and 12:45pm to approximately 5:15pm for an afternoon course.
Drinks are provided for the day, water and soft drinks.
It is advisable to dress to suit the weather conditions of the day and be mindful to wear suitable footwear eg: no thongs, heels, etc.
It is a requirement that the vehicle you bring for the course is in a road worthy condition and must not exceed RTA noise limit- 90dba.
It is advisable that you check the following things on the vehicle you plan to bring on the day of your course.
*There should no loose object in the vehicle like umbrellas, speakers, luggage, junk etc.
*Windows are clean inside and out.
*Tyre pressures are correct, you may need to refer to the owners manual or there should be a sticker inside the drivers door with required pressures. I would advise not to put bald tyres on the rear as you will need tread in the wet for best vehicle control.
*You have at least ¾ of a tank of petrol.
*All fluid levels under the bonnet are correct, especially water & oil.
The above information is just a guide and if you have any concerns prior to attending the course then please feel free to contact us for help. You are more than welcome to invite spectators to watch and bring along cameras etc.
We look forward to seeing you on the day.
    Thanks
    Fifth Gear Motoring.

It's the quick and the dead around here

I'll put you on the reserve list, you never know your luck. But given 8 out of 10 have already paid I don't like your chances.

OK, now that Dubbo is done and dusted I thought I'd bump this one back up as we're about 4 weeks out from this event

The only thing I'd like to note at this stage just in case anyone hasn't realised is that this is being run on Mothers Day, so if this is going to prevent anyone who has paid up form coming please let me know sooner rather than later so we can arrange a replacement.

Apart from that we're set to go.

My car came out of Dubbo unscathed and ready for more action

Assuming my car is back on the road... I am definitely going to be there!

If the car isn't on the road, might see what I can organise...
