    Default pulling a break booster out of a celica

    I am having trouble pulling the break booster out of my car, ..Its a 1988 celica. its unbolted, completely, ..just doesnt want to fit up and out of the engine bay, .. ?

    Its unbolted, but is the pushrod that attatches to the pedal still attatched?

    Usually they are held on with a pin that goes through the top of the brake pedal shaft... (pin is held in by a split pin).

    if you're just repairing the master cylinder - leave the boost in place?
