Default Shock Absorbers for older Toyotas

Im currently about to but some shocks for my Corona and am just wondering what fits what so I can buy what from where. Im going to use the xt130 strut up front to give my RT142 a bit of free neg camber (I havent tried but I hope it fits). Id prefer shorter stroke shocks front and back as the car will be lower.

As far as im aware, RA23/28/40/xt130 use the same shocks but what about ke70/Ae86 are they the same too. I know the Ta22 struts are shorter than RA23 and then ive read that Rav shocks fit too and they are a shorter stroke.

I just want to make it as simple as possible when i go to the suspension shop and so I get what I want.

    Any info would be appreciated!

I'm pretty sure KE3x/5x use the same strut inserts as RA40.

If you are lowering your car excessively then shorter stroke shocks are a great idea.. If you are just going to buy your off the shelf king springs 'low' or similiar then in most applications shorter stroke shocks would be a waste of your time and money..
Instead, a decent set of new performance shocks to suit the length of the xt130 strut would be all you need..
    Thats my 2c anyway...
