    Default R154-3SGTE bellhousing..

    Hi...,

I have a 3SGTE engine stock and I want to swap it with 1JZGTE gearbox (R154).

Is it possible ? If it is, what else do I need in order for the engine to be able to attach to the box ? Your help really appreciated.

besides this, is there anybody who intends to sell 1JZGTEgearbox or W58 ?

Also please inform me how much do you want to sell and help me find out what's the shipping cost to indonesia, Jakarta or Medan please. Thanks a lot.

Nothing off the shelf is currently available.
What you need is an R154 to W58 adaptor.
There are a couple under production, but none ready.

Basically the idea is that you bolt the adaptor to the R154, and then you bolt a 3S/W58 bellhousing to the adaptor.

Hmmm, 'normally' the 4cyl stuff only had the G5x box, not the R15x box, and it was the 6cyl and diesel things that had the R15x box.

That said, if your crazy thoughts are right rob, yeah, it should work, or come close enough.

Thanks a lot sir for the tips. But is it ok if I ask for your mobile number so that I can give you a call directly ?

I am really blind about this matter. So before I make a decision I just want to make sure that I am not making the wrong decisions.

    Cheers,

What I've written there is the limit of my knowledge.

The only other thing I can offer is that RoadRunner fabrications were looking into making the adaptor.

The Hilux with the 5vz runs an R151.

I believe you can use the bellhousing from them and slot the holes slightly to suit, the slave is on the intake side but im not sure on the starter location.

I think this was what Linden had fitted to his 3S last time i was down there when he was looking into this. Since he doesn't have his 3s anymore I think he has since stopped looking into it.
