common thing to do blake is to put in a 2-2.5 inch restrictor in the exhaust to stop over boosting.
Hey guys
just going through the final stages of my 2J-mx83 conversion...its a non vvti aristo motor/ auto
IM pretty new to these engines/ turbos full stop so bear with me
Can anyone tell me:
*The charcoal canister - i have hooked it up to the existing vent line off the mx83 tank, where else on the motor does it connect to?
*A boost gauge - which line on the motor/ turbos do i cut the tee into?
*due to my new 3.5" exhaust and water to air ic, obviously the thing is going to overboost, does a 2j computer have fuel/ boost cut to stop the motor leaning out and frying a piston if i give it a footfull?
im sure there will be more questoins as i get closer lol
thanks heaps for your help
Blake :-)
