I think I may just leave it to be honest, I know if I start playing with it, I'll richen it up, then wind in more boost, get greedy, blow up the turbos, then start along the path to big single, management, injectors etc... A path I can't afford to walk again... But it would be cool to crack 300... So... Who knows..

Cheers for pointing that stuff out though, this is the 1st 1j I've owned, so I wasn't sure what to expect..

greddy FCD for an sw20 mr2. The fcd was originally tuned for the 2jz so it probably just needs some minor adjustment for the 1jz.

pretty much. although your adjusting a clamping voltage and not so much AFR's directly...

i reckon stompy's is set at maximum to run that lean. poor ecu probably thinks its getting about 7 psi haha

Stomps might be worth opening a thread in the tech section asking for the correct fuel cut voltage for a 1jz. 4.7v comes to mind from info i read on soarercentral a while ago (double check this).

It's just a small POT, only has some small white markings around the outer edge. Easiest way to adjust it is by using a battery and a multimeter.

how would you adjust it though ?

attach a 12v supply from batt, and turn the knob and measure what the wire leading to ECU is putting out ?

I am pretty sure fuel cut is 4.30-4.32 volts from memory . I always used to run my Greddy unit at 4.25v . We found it would sometimes hit fuel cut at 4.30v and almost always at 4.32v .
