Default Clutch Pressure Plate Bolts - reusable? or not? (answer: not really for my applicatio

Ok, so I have a stock 7mgte clutch bolted up to an R154 at the moment. I have a twin plate to go in but alas no new pressure plate bolts. So, will the stock ones (a) fit? (b) safe to reuse? The twin plate is an OS Giken TS2BD.

Sorry to ask such a noob-ish question but I honestly can't find a concrete answer.

    Any help is appreciated.

What you will have to do is check the condition of the ones you have and if they look good not worn threads then they should be fine. As long as they do up properly then thats sweet as. You should torque them up to specs as well. What you will have to find out is when they are tightened up to specs what the diaphragm position is with your new twin plate in there.

If the diaphragm ends are more than flush when you tighten the plate down then you will need spacers to accomadate for the extra thickness of your clutch disc. If the twin plate is the same thickness as the previous plate installed before with that same pressure plate than you wont need to worry about spacers.

ARP make them to suit your application. You need the 4AGE kit, part no. 203-2802
