Check all the bulbs to make sure none are blown and they are all the same wattage.

hey guys just wondering, i have an 85 hilux 4x4 2.0ltr and when u turn the indicators on they dont flash they just stay on, now iv replaced the flasher relay but its still doing the same thing hoping someone could shed some light on the subject. and also wondering if someone might have a wiring diagram for this model.

i would be saying its a bulb somewhere in the system, does it do it no matter what side you put them on?
Try playing with your Hazard switch, turn it on & off a few times, it may help ? ..
Are you sure it was the flasher can for the indicators you changed & not the Hazards flasher can ? ..
i think its a loose earth, or bung globe
all the globes are working and when i pulled the flasher out the indicators wouldnt come on at all ans yes it does it to both sides even when u turn the hazards on both sides come on but they dont flash they just stay on

Check your earths to the indicator assemblies all around.

sounds like you've got a grounded wire somewhere that is causing the problem
I'm an atheist but it's not my fault it's the way GOD made me
change the flasher can.
in case you dont know where it is. under the dash harness area.
manually make the indicators operate
youll hear the can click
gab it ,and feel it click
remove it, replace it ( take the old one to the autoparts place to match it because some have 2 pin and some have 3 pin units)
shouldnt be over $15
