Not as far as I can tell. Dizzies from all 3 are interchangable.

Caps are interchangeable, but dizzies from different gens have different part numbers. Gen 2 has a green sticker, and from memory, Gen 3 has a blue sticker. I've been told, but unconfirmed, that gen 2 and gen 3 dizzies have different angle sensors and are not interchangeable.
Gen 2 dizzy is a Toyota P/N 19100-88341 (ND 229100-1942), and specifically says 1G-GTEU. If I recall correctly, the gen 3 is officially known as a 1G-GTE, so that kinda backs me up.
    As for Gen1, no Idea.
Feel free to cut me down hard if I'm wrong on this.

    We've run Gen2 ecu's on Gen3 dizzy's, and a Gen1 ECU on a Gen2 dizzy, so they are all identical.

But you are right, gen2 and gen3 are different part numbers, but the plug is a different colour, so thats probably why.

The Rotor button from the 85 - 90`s 1GGTEU will work in either.
