Ah, bugger I didn't see this trip till today??? Could have some along for a day at least?

Anyway, that rock ledge in the, above pictures, is part of the Zig Zag track out the back of Jilliby, it's a tough one to drive up, and even hairier to come down.

You would have probably driven a track called Daniels lane to get there, would have had a big bog hole to get though in a rainforesty part. All tough tracks though, so it would have been a great trip.

Here is a good view of the top of Zig Zag

    Yep that sounds like us!!!!

I have more pics of the ledge... Barts truck made it look easy, but it was 6pm by the time we got him down - with the time lagging and the rest of our trucks not as serious and daily drivers decided it best to turn tail....

Yep saw that bog hole too....

Keep your eyes out for the next trip!!!

    Hey guys,

Sorry I was a little late, I hadn't been wattos for like a year or so, and I've never gone
in off the HWY from sparks road, always take the exit before and then come up north
to the cemetary, so I came off the highway and turned left like I usually do, but only 1
turnoff after...that was shit. Thanks for waiting for me tho fellas. At least now I know 2
    ways to get there now.

Thanks guys for coming out +Rep to you all for man-ing up when the going got tough.
I was impressed with everyones driving considering the level of modifications and the
relatively little drive time offroad. I'm going back to conquer the whole bloody track
from start to finish...VERY soon...That shit is MINE! PJ, you keen? bring some spare
    undies mate!

I know you are probably all a lil pissed at me for getting your swanky paintjobs a lil
massaging But I think you all went away knowing better what your trucks were
capable of, but still having a good time.
Fair to say that everyone who came would now be alot more confident to drive offroad
if the situation was ever to arise.

Mick made leaps and bounds in the lux. Considering he'd never been offroad before,
at the start there were a few times he jumped out lookin a little pale, but this bloke's
got the minerals....he drove right up to the rock ledge at the very end!!!
No mods just lux power! LOL keep it up champ!! +REP!!
Keep at it mate, its all about experience hey, the more you drive, the more you know.
But I like that about 4WDing, just when you think you know it all, there will always
be times you really push your driving skills...going around a track is fun, but no where
near as challenging as going hardcore 4WDing! Plus its alot more laid back and social
    too.

PJ is mad. Loves water and mud...wants to turn his patrol into a boat. ROFL
Get a new air-filter bro! That one is farked!! LOL

Toy77 and his missus are good value, as are his cool little staffys.
Nitro's got a good set of jaws on him too LOL how's the ear mate?

    Cheers,
    Bart

PS..I got pics but my missus has the camera now, but will be up soon.

Pissed i missed this i was keen to break some stuff on the lux. i worked day and night on it to get it going, i'll be all sweet this weekend lol.

I was going to go with my mate but he had a stack on Friday night and spent his weekend getting his hand pinned back together.

Looks like the real king off the road is the mighty Patrol but we all know that ha ha.

thanks for organising the day bart.

hhaha almost unstoppable lux! it desperatly needs the new diff. id had it offroad a fair bit but always a bit more conserativly. the lux gets dirty almost once a week going mountain biking. she did pretty well for totally dead stock ifs lux with a dead lsd, standard size tyres everything.

that first climb with the twist in it had me a little pale, lauren too hahahh

and impressivly i drained the oils the other day. not a drop of water or crud in the diffs/gear cases.
