Default Wakefield Park Track Day - Monday 22 Dec

Just posting an FYI for those who may be interested in a trackday to kick of the holidays.

Monday 22 December (next week) is a regular 'Speed off the streets - cars only' track day at Wakefield Park.

1JZ-Rolla and myself are heading up for a few runs to kick off the festive season

As this is an open day for street cars you just pay on the day, no bookings are necessary.

    Cost is $110.

Annual licence if you don't have one is $50.

A nit infested helmet can be hired for $20.

Hopefully it's a dry day and it should be good fun.

    Cheers,

    Shane.

Well if you come across some spare cash keep it in mind

The days are just run by Wakefield Park, it's pot luck as to how many cars turn up. The smallest one I've been to only had less than 10 cars for the day, the largest had about 30+.

I'm hoping given the proximity to Christmas it won't be very busy at all......I'll find out on the day though when it kicks off.

Hopefully this track day will be drier than when you went last week

I'll be keen again for Feb.

    ooooooo, this is mighty tempting.

With a Wedding in Jan I'm limitted in my spending right now though... though most of the major expenses are covered now.
Will see closer to the date, plus I have a strange oil leak right now I'm trying to track down. I suspect it's the o-ring on the oil cooler adapter-oil filter but it's hard to see clearly, what with a firewall right in the line of sight and all. Also have a lot of things to get done before Christmas, but I'll see how I go, most people here are taking that week off anyway.
