megasquirt connected to a laptop makes a great logger ... plus it can run your engine as well

Ideally you want to be able to log two pressures & two temps (inlet & outlet of intercooler). From what I can see the Megasquirt doesn't have that many additional I/Os - or am I missing something?
The 2eo looks pretty cool - shame it isn't available as a (cheaper) kit.

Atmel + MAX202 + PC + Fluro display in the stock dash FTW!

Tis what I am doing, will be able to log 8 ADC's (butt load of temps and boost) and two PWM (RPM, speed). Also has a boost controler output .

Twill even display it on my little screen that I put in the dash, 4 buttons for a user selectable menu.

I'll post a pic one day when I get it all happening

    Cheers

Would've been nicer to have revs, but I think getting the gauge in the shot the entire way was useful enough

I thought you were going to use the Jaycar kit for boost control.
    What happened to that?

It fried itself. I cracked the shits and bought a Gizzmo. The Gizzmo's settings weren't smart enough to handle my turbos and it spiked all over the place. This was evident on the dyno graph, so I just got the eBoost2

Megasquirt with V2.2 board and MS1 processor. will log rpm and MAP, TPS and 2 temps also, and cheaper than many other options.
no onboard memory, needs laptop to log, but there were ppl working on using Palms to log. can log around 10-15 points per second when connected to laptop (limited by baud rate) so res is pretty good.

could also be used for extra outputs

from DIY autotune, US$134 + post... pretty bloody cheap for a logger actually

and it can run a motor later on

edit: doh, beaten to the punch

heck if i was in Oz, i would lend you one of my 3 to play with

That is cheap. Don’t really need one as I have 2 datalogging thingies now

For that price, you still have to put it together though don’t you? Something that I know I wouldn’t be able to do properly.

Your boost controllers are like my exhaust.
You've spent about 3 times the amount as what you initially planned.
