    Default 4 Link Setup advice

    Hi
    I am after some advice or a pointer in relation to setting up a 4 Link rear end in my TA22 with Volvo diff. The 4 Link setup I have is;

    The adjustable points are in the box sections which I was going to weld into the rear end near the rails. What angles need to be maintained or established when setting up the box sections, how close or far apart can they be?
    The car will see track work at Wakefield, Eastern Creek, etc.. and the ocassional WSID run here and there.
    Any help would be much appreciated.
    Cheers

    Perhaps talk to an engineer with a suspension simulator.
    This is a pretty serious mod and it is likely worth looking for hands on advice, as well as forum theories.
    You could suck it and see after a bit of research??? Depends on your experience I suppose.

    For inspiration, try to find some pics of a V8 supercar rear end, they run equal length arms. They also run a very nice watts linkage that is adjustable for roll centre height.
    An option might be to copy something a proven similar setup.
    There are some pretty good books on the subject that are also worth a read.

    Slydar on ae86dc had altered his ae86 in this manner. I'm not sure what he based his design on though. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/bo...c=29579&st=210
