The car was nice too.
Despite such a low winning power figure the turnout was still decent compared to the last dyno day. The new renewal item is pretty awesome too.
If in doubt power out
Great day as always, very happy with the Seca (MS53CA) - very suprised, were only expecting mid 60's - i knew she had some power
Will be looking forward to running it again next time!
Cheers,
Carz
Yeah it was a good thing and I'm sure it's a tonne of fun to drive with the revvy N/A setup. And yes the little 3S definately dominated the rest of it's class making more than double the power of the next "best" result. It was fun to see the battle of hte his and hers MR2's.Originally Posted by MissMR

I had a great day. I was quite surprised with my 135kW at all 4 wheels. Its only at least double my previous best. Funny how changing fuel type will do that.
For a while, there was talk amongst the GT4 boys about the Dina getting top 4wd. At least until the modded ST205 turned up, which would've been a bit sad considering its bog stock, including intake & exhaust with noise flap silencer.
At least it was good to find out that my pinging concerns don't exist.

Was a great day, thank you very very much to all the people that made the day possible.
Next time Jaemus.... YOUR MINE!It was certainly a close battle! im very impressed with her result. Might i just point out incase no one is aware that its a 3S-GE BEAMS?Originally Posted by Joshstix
I was expecting around 120 from the 3VZ-FE so i wasnt exactly dissapointed with 116.8. However now everyone i come across is telling me how they would have expected more.
Certainly the printout indicates that its running typical conservative Camry rich... so i have some clues as to what to do to improve it![]()

Thanks you Mr Jaemus... PS... Don't tell anyone but your car sounded hot as on the dyno. And I may already be talking to people about what little things we can do to both to help with that fuel issue we both seem to have!![]()

nice, but I expected more from the V6, but I suppose the torque makes up for the lack of top end power.
Should be interesting if I have my converson done by next time... quite similar numbers, but a category down![]()
When you think about it, that seems normal for a V6 that's come straight from a Camry. With work done to it the numbers should be significantly better, but as you said the main point of it is for the torque curve, not outright power. For an engine which only makes 130-140kw stock (comparable to a BEAMS 3SGE, but much lower rpm), it has still done pretty good.Originally Posted by MR22ZZ
