Not sure man, what gen of GZE is it? Your supercharger might be knackered, but there's a good chance that it's your boost gauge or where you're reading from. How did you block the ABV off? The best way is an aluminium plate.

    thanks for the replys

my motor has a map sensor im sure that it is the later model and

BPV with a bolt it is very air tight there is no problem there

and the charger sounds fine no un-normal sounds

we have tryed 3 diffrent guages and we are getting the reading of the boost from the inlet manifold

    any other idears?

possibly belt slip try tightning your s/c belt.
and possible air leak from any fitting or clamp

That's an odd reply...When I did mine, I removed the ABV (about 1/2 the size of a coke can, will be located on the intake plumbing near the SC), put a plate across the hole it left, and made a plug for the pipe which connected to it with a peice of acetal. That was about 25mm in diam from memory. What did you cap off? Note that this is for an AFM GZE, but I assume the MAP has the same setup.

    thanks again for the replys

the belt i already have tightend and what i have blocked is the (abv) bypass that runs from just under the intake to the super chager and it is air tight i just caped it diffrent

and my motor is MAP not AFM

    thanks guys, matt

    Matt,

    http://www.toymods.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2451

Using the US/Canada diagram on attached post above.

The VSV with line to fuel press reg is brown
The VSV with line to Air bypass valve is light blue.

-Remove line form blue VSV to throttle body and cap the vac line fitting at throttle body. This is the vac line with the one way valve in it.
( I left a small piece of vac line at throtte body fitting then blocked That with screw and quality vac line clamp)

-Remove line from blue VSV at air bypass valve. Now this line then needs to be " T pieced " into the line from brown VSV line that Doesn't go to fuel press reg.

This worked for me on Gen 3 4agze.

If anyone thinks I have got the procedure wrong pls feel free to correct me

    Cheer's

Tyrone if he has physically blocked the the abv with a plug of some sort, doing the vac line mod isn't gonna do shit all

instead of just blocking it maybe you should try taking the whole thing ABV off, what side have you blocked? the side from the ABV to the intake (before charger) or the side from the charger to the ABV (after charger)?

i am telling you guys i have blocked the abv no air can get throught at all.

the small bit of rubber tubbing between the air bypass valve and the charger where the air bypasses when not boosting i have blocked by welding a bolt into the back of the ABV it dose the same job as caping both holes but it was easyer for me to do this way

well no thats all i wanted to know cause if you block off the side to the intake boost can still leak out through the abv. but if you have blocked the side from the charger that should be fine

    Ahh, I see, my mistake..

Why stuff around removing the ABV or Blocking it when it can be bypassed?

Anyway I have a NEVO 175mm in the works and I hope to make more than 10psi..

My MAP 4agze in ae82 with stock pulley and cooler and ABV mod sometimes makes 10 psi ( cold canberra mornings/evenings )

    Cheers
    Tyrone.

not really a discussion for here but when trying to run that much boost, doing the vac line mod isn't going to be enough to hold the ABV closed, the ABV will still leak a little boost. when installing a nevo the best thing to do is take it off and block it up
