The bolt goes behind the removable plate on the head. it has a small notch accross the end of the bolt and that has to face horizontaly.
that is the only oil squirter for the chain as the bottom one is basicaly splash fed
Cheers Dave
Has anyone got a diagram or knows where the bolts go for the oil squirters for timing chain are?
Cheers,
Stu

thanks heaps mate i still have a couple left, all i know is these go behind the timing case somewhere. Any ideas or should i just go 2 u pull it n pull an engine down?
I dont quite understand what you are requiring , If you say you have a couple, you only need one. Are you rebuilding an 18rg or have you lost some parts? This model oil squirter is fairly specific to the 18rg and you will be battling to find one at the wreckers. You have to undo this squirter to remove the head, otherwise the timing chain cannot pass thru the head.
Best you try and pick up a copy of the toyota 18r-g workshp manual, around $30.00 on ebay, they come up quite often. (the green bible)
All will be revealed then.
