You are going to need, shocks, springs and bushes to make it handle at all.

This will set you back at least $1500.

And for the 300zx brake upgrade you will be looking at almost $1000.

Doesn't leave much room for an engine conversion. And from someone that has been there and done that, do the brakes and suspension first.

kinda want to just get it running ok first 5me and autobox arent going to well and i can always do other stuff later atm i just want

should be able to get king springs and some cheapy shocks (I got monroes, cheap as chips) for 600 or so, bushes are worth looking at too if it all feels "sloppy"

Edit - once again, fitting yourself save $$ but I wouldnt want to (and didnt infact) fit the bushes myself!

a friend told me to do a similar thing said id have it all done for about that price

7MGE + loom and ECU $800 should get a reasonable one (though you can never be sure with 2nd hand engines)
W58 at least $400, W57 will be chaeper and easier to find but 5th gear will suck ass on the hwy, especially if you keep the 4.1 ratio your ex-auto car will most certainly have
Slotted rotors, roughly $130 each
Shocks and springs $600 bare minimum cost
Decent pads - greenstuff decent? about $180 a pair

So, without factoring in any of the fiddly things that WILL go wrong and labour for things you cant do yourself, youre looking at about $2300

I would also factor in another grand (at least) for stuff you didnt think of and then more money for engineering and engineers certificate.

Honestly, I think youre probably going to end up spending at least twice what youre budgetting, but thats just my opinion, you may surprise me

Bah to Mr p00, the key is it produces more power just said dyno operators don't wanna take the engine there, pfft 4500rpm , peak powers at atleast 6000rpm.

Oh said power figure will hopefully be revised soon, I gets paid tomorrow and a large sum is being put away, then next months pay i'll have enough and get it booked in hopefully.

Oh and mr Dong isn't your car sans tarbo atm thus making mine quicker than the immobile thing joo own
