Ok, well i pulled out my 3sgte dizzy to do the o-ring. got the old one off no problem, as per other 3sgte dizzy thread.
When i pulled the oring off i saw this..........
And if you wiggle it..
Is this a strange thing to happen? it looks like a weird place to crack, i didnt drop it or anything. ive been very careful with it.

Hi, Im enthused about corollas..

can it be temperarly fixed? i'm guessing most of my oil leak is due to the crack, and not so much the oring. the oring was rooted though.
Would a 3sge dizzy fit up?its got a gen2 3sge cap on it so..
Anyway, i need the car tonight/tomorrow so is there anything i can do?

Yep a 3SGE dizzy will work fine! Its what i'm using on mine.
To temp stop the oil leak, just sikaflex the back of the dizzy when its meets the clamp on the head.
Thanks for the tips shane+1
