I glued a washer to replace the broken plastic. Just use a really strong glue and it should be good enough.
My 71 TA22's instrument panel has recently started to break up.
It has developed minor cracks over the years but I have strengthened these with resin.
However last weekend I used the hazard switch with the following result:
The switch mounting surface disintegrated. Took the panel out and all the other switch mounting surfaces are cracked and also likely to disintegrate some time soon.
Before I try to re-invent the wheel has anyone out there successfully fixed this problem?
I do not like the thought of having to find/buy a replacement panel.
I look forward to positive comments/suggestions/solutions.

2T-G - Half the valves but twice the fun.
My initial thought too.
Did you grind the locating lug off the switch body where it mounts on the rear of the panel or cut a section out of the washer?
I cut the section off the washer.

Did the washer repair which has done the job. Used araldite, roughed up the switch mounting surface and washer face with the coarsest sand paper I could find first:
While I was at it I re-coloured the guage surrounds. Chrome paint, a cigarette filter for application and a steady hand did the job. Looks the goods now:
