    Default 4A-FC free spinner?

    Is 4A-FC an interference or non interference motor?
    Did a search came up with nothing.....

    With the possible exception of the 20v engines, the general consensus is that all A-series engines are non-interference.

    while I dont know for sure the valves protrude very little out of a 4afe head due to the recessed design so I would be quite confident that they are

    And the pistons are recessed too...although the design changed between early and late FE heads (I'm guessing the early ones are the same as FC heads)
