    Default ex mx83 7m wiring into ma61

    having alot of trouble just need to get it on the road asap even if its just wired to start for now any help? theres so many unused plugs coming of the 7m that i have no idea bout what they do...so in short any1 tell me how to get it to start?? i have aftermarket gauges installed to take care of the temp ect

    All the factory dash guages can be used, as they are compatible with the 7MGE.

    Have a look at Andy's 7MGTE wiring site, its going to be pretty similar.

    It depends how 'properly' you want to wire this up.

    its accually my mates its just his work car (car's not in the best of nick) soo he just wants to get it up and running so he doesnt have to bum lifts to work everyday..so yeah just want to get the main wires done so it can drive

    hook BATT up to the battery
    hook +B up to ignition (will need large wire)
    hook IGSW up to ignition
    hook START up to start signal
    Hook up earths
    Find old AFM plug (in bay) and solder the 2 FP wires together.
    Solder 7M FP output to one of these wires.

    Off the top of my head that should get it running.

    The fuel pump wiring is probably wrong, but what you need to do is along those lines.

    Honestly, wiring it up dodgy will probably take and hour, where as properly will probably only take 2 or 3 hours. I'd do it properly.

    Here is my whole 5ME/MA61 collection.
    The file names give you a hint at to what they are.
