    Default 3SGE faltspot.

    Hey.
    Finally got the project car running, but its having a few issues.
    It’s a Gen3 3SGE and is been converted to rwd in a a23 shell. it seem to have a massive flat spot between 5000-6000. it feels like it hits the limiter. if you ride it out it seem to take back off at 6000 rpm right to red line.
    any info, help or tips would be wonderful. Thanks

    ignition breakdown? Got a wideband to check afrs?

    EDIT: Factory ecu? Wire up the CEL and check for any stored codes. Just been reading another thread that makes mention of if no vehicle speed sensor is attached it will retard timing in the top end.. something to investigate.
