does it come with the ABS controller?
I would be inclined to look into making the AE92 ABS equipped if you have all the right gear
I was looking into picking up a 4AGZE for my AE92 GTi. The donor car is a Levin AE101 with superstrut suspension and ABS. Would the driveshafts fit the hub or do I need non ABS driveshafts?

I dont know if the ABS controller comes with it, I havent been down to have a look. I dont really want to get into something overly complicated though just looking for a straight swap.
Thanks for the link I have come across that before but its all about brake conversions and does not mention driveshafts.
they will fit your hub..i have ABS ae101 shafts in my ae82..
Thanks for the advice. I have actually got a spare hub lying about so i will take that along with me just to double check.
I'm curious now..... what would need to be done to transfer the ABS to a non ABS equipped car.....
I'm no expert but i think you will need:
ABS control unit
Wheel speed sensors for each wheel
Hydraulic motor thingo
and I think there's a Valve or 2 that controls which wheel(s) will be receiving the action
I'm not sure if it will work with the stock brake lines, but most brake lines today are fairly sturdy.
I had an after market system on my old Landcruiser, it worked great when 4WDing but I broke it with my 35" tyres on the road
I didn't hook it up so I don't know whats involved but a couple of net searches should give you some answers, and maybe someone on here.
dont bother with retrofitting ABS to your AE92... you will fail in the explosion.
...... butt scratcher?!
