    that sounds like it would be a $20K+ build if done correctly, where a turbo'ed GZE would cost about 7-8K for the same if not more power (depending on the supporting components you use).

    Ok cool, so it seems I might go with the GZE. I have read a bit on this, there's lots of discussion on it, but it seems to be a highly contested point, Can you simply whack a SC on a GE, or would it blow the thing.

    i turboed a 100kw NA motor - got 130rwkw on 10psi, was fun and relatively cheap to do. if i hadn't of sold it, the plan was to rebuild with 8.9:1 pistons (as this is the only difference) if i wanted to raise the boost.
