It sounds like you've created a dirty great air leak when you changed over to all your custom stuff. Check it all over, perhaps use a hose as a listening device.
Ive gone and made a air intake, removed resonater and fit a flexitube through.
I dunno what the hell has happen.
Started the GT4 and as soon as i started it the revs dropped so that it almost stalled.
No when i put my foot down a lil to try to get the revs up it chugs badly and the revs go down, keeps chugging then finally the revs come up.
By chugging i mean revs drop, car shakes, feels like its gonna stall.
does anyone know what has happen????

How could i have created a air leak?
Everything came out easy as, no probs
All i did was remove resenator
and fit in a hose
.....
Just went outside and tested it and its gone away.
Gonna go for a drive to the servo to test it out
You asked for help, and JCMF gave a suggestion. I'm with JCMF, sounds like a dirty great big air leak.
If its gone away, then lucky you.

Does your car have an AFM? Any small air leak between the AFM and the engine will cause the car to have a lumpy idle, or even make it want to stall if it's bad enough. Once the revs get up it will smooth out a bit.
You could've created an air leak by accidentally not sealing up the hose fully air tight, wouldn't take much.
Good to hear it's fixed now though. Keep us posted.

god i love GT4's
strong little f*$kers!!
Nah its all gone.
Thing i didnt understand was, didnt touch the pod or AFM, left them as is.
All i did was remove resonator and put pipping
thank god its gone though.
Didnt do it once on the way to put petrol
Another thing, as i was going through the car trying to find the newly installed alarm module (they hide it bloody well) i found something in the cabbin sorta behind the ashtray
it says Blitz super complete computer, wdh is that??
Couldnt be a ECU or something could it?
If it happens again, check the intake elbow to the turbo, make sure it's done up properly and its not cracked anywhere, and also check your PCV hoses (the smaller ones on the intake elbow. If any of these are loose, it can cause these problems.
Yea ive double check them just before.
they r fine aswell
So anyone know what a blitz super complete computer is?
Found it in the dash near my ashtray, what could it be?
At a guess some kind of piggyback ECU? Google reveals nothing about it, but that's what I would think it was. Follow the wiring and see where it connects, and let us know.
If it was idling like crap and then went away you probably disconnected the ECU and didn't teach it how to idle properly.
After you disconnect the ECU you should start the car, let it idle for 5 seconds, turn it off and repeat procedure about 5 times.
Then go for a drive to warm the car up, stop the car and repeat the above procedure another 5 times.
Yea ill tale a look at it either today or tomoz, Yea thats what i thought it could have been.Originally Posted by tooch

Just wasnt positive.I think the guy i bought it off either forgot to take it off when selling, or just forgot he had it.
Thats the 3rd little suprise goody that ive found in the car, after hving it for 1 yr.
Lol, i thnk i should take a proper look at the car, cant belive i havnt notived till yesterday.
Will get bavk to u on where the wiring goes, when i can be stuffed.
Thanx guys
Wiring is to hard to follow, its in a weird spot to get to and with my bride seat it gets in the way to get a good look.plus on the weekend it hit like 34 degrees,so was to hot to play around with the car.
But been doing some research on the net, and this is all ive been able to find

The Blitz Access ECU is a computer which replaces the existing ECU. Replacing the stock ECU with either a piggyback unit or an entire replacement, such as this, is commonly known as 'chipping' the car. The Blitz Access computer does not rely on fooling the ECU with external clamping circuits or making sensors read differently, it properly re-programs the factory limits, and all the fueling is adjusted accordingly. The Blitz Access computers are so technically advanced, they can even be purchased with maps for larger injectors. The Blitz Access ECU's are available for most japanese cars, so please enquire if there is an Access ECU for your car.

I was about to suggest that it was a Blitz Access, but I wasn't sure with the 'Super Complete Computer' bit!
Ahh well that's pretty cool to find an ECU that you didnt know about after a year![]()
yea i know it was a nice lil suprise, do you know the stats on this ecu?
I wanna find out how its tuned, also you cant re-tune these ecu's can u?
