Question What is this dash light? ae92 levin gtz

    Hey everyone,

I'm in the process of wiring up my project car - toyota sprinter with a 3sgte and ae92 levin gtz dash.

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what this light on the instrument cluster indicates:

I originally thought it was the check engine light, but it can't be because the bottom right light in the pic below is the check engine light I think:

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

The first one is the check engine light,

And the other one in the bottom right of the other pictures, is the Cat Overheat Light

Re: the cat overheat light, I remember thinking the same thing when I wired up my halfcut's GTZ loom to the sx cluster.

Just take the globe out, otherwise you're going to have to make sure that the sensor is fitted into the exhaust.
Was only really fitted to 80s & early 90s JDM cars due to them sitting idling a lot.

Sif you're going to stop the car because the cat isn't working properly

Very true wagonist - globe is out
Phirom - car is nearly done already started it. In the process of tidying up the wiring.

Yea, don't worry about the cat overheat light. I have it on my AE101 GTZ Levin as stock, but there's not much reason to hook it up if you don't want to.

It's some sort of pyro sensor that sits on a flange immediatley after the cat. I think mine leaks a bit as it is a little loose...
