you need the dimmer connected from memory.
hey, i have had a bit of trouble with my digital dash, it doesn't light up at all. Everything is wired as i know of, is there supposed to be a signal from somewhere telling it to turn on or should it come on with the ignition power into pin 1 and ground in pin 9,20? I think maybe it has something to do with the light control rheostat in terminal 7? or the digital dash could be fucked? If anyone could shed some light on this matter, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
David

you mean pin 7 from G? or the actual light dimmer with the knob on it? ill have another look tomorrow cos everything in the dash is disconnected, will connect everything and see how i go.Originally Posted by JP

Pin 7 goes to the dimmer/rheostat. It's been a while but from memory the digi dash in my GX81 didn't work with the dimmer disconnected.
i have a spare digi dash if u wanna test, it worked fine

It looks like i might need to borrow yours to test it out, just reconnected everything and still doesn't want to work, all the warning lights seem to work fine but the high beam light doesn't want work either so, i'm thinking there's something wrong with the unit. also ive checked all the fuses and they are all good.Originally Posted by Karma_Supra
