soarerdude has had a bad experiecewith one,

as far as i understand, if you run LOW boost....10psi, they are alright,

but once you wind em up a bit they become fragile...

If you really want a cheap turbo, then get a KKR330(i think thats the one), t2 flange, 330hp for about 650 bucks i think. More reliable than any of that stuff afaik.

Its finding a garret t28 thats hard part and it not being rooted, trust me been looking for awhile now , even on ns its hard to find one. Its got 12 months warranty so they have some confidence in them. Just pondering around at the moment but would love a garret

Yes soarer_d00d had one of those MonstA turbos and manifolds, and his turbo ended up eating shit pretty quick.

Haven't heard too much bad stuff about Hypergear and/or KKR. They seem to be a great value turbo. I was considering a KKR until I found my GT35R at a similar price so I snapped it up!

Mr 1jz if i were only to run around 15 psi max would the internal wastegate handling this ? or are you talking about massive amount of boost pressure and then the internal gate cant handle it

Had to clean up up first thought
Lots of filings and shit left over from machining.

Making about 200rwkws, waste gate is a POS, but good enough
    He is happy with it.

PS: He is only running about 8-10psi.
