a manifold, dump pipe, modified oil and water lines, new cooler pipes, thats about it really, you can on and on though if wanted, like computer and injecters ect ect, but not required if you dont want too, depends how much power you want, or what you want to do really

Dont forget you prob want a decent external wastegate too. And then once you have your turbo setup, to get the best from it all and your moneys worth you really need computer bigger fuel pump and injectors and some real good tuning! So all up well over $5000.
I suggest concentrating on a good base motor for starters then concider more power after that. A good rebuild is highly benifical before doing any of the above. Unless you want to watch your 1g make over 300rwhp then bugger out because of age.?

    and welcome by the way

and as for the crank and cams if yours are still in pretty good condition they should be fine but have them inspected by whoever does the rebuild just to be safe

to be honest i couldn tell you evrything but as far as i no
repco for the timing belt ask for a gates timing belt bout $110
any goodbearing shop for your bearings and possibly seals
except big and little end bearings

although i have done the front and rear main seal + spiggot bearing ill try to find the part number for ya

whoever you get to see over the rebuild should be able to get most of the enternal work done(performance shop or a good enginering shop)
water pumps bout $190 from toyota
    unsure on oil pump

or try the search feture on toymods there will most prob be previous thread wit wat your lookin for hope that helps

im putting a gt30 on mine and intend on boosting it up to about 17 psi, im not going to rebuild it though at this stage as i need to get the car back on the road asap

the motor has been sitting in the bay for about 12 months, it still cranks, but i know eventually i will need to do rear main seal as it is already leaking a bit and when i do i will replace those other things

i reckon i'll just do oil filter (i have a romote mount jigga), timing belt and other obvious bits

im not going to go stupid building a 1g from the bottom up as for the money its far cheaper to get a 1uz or 1j

please let me know if ive left anything major out
