    Default engine seize

Hey guys, i know this may be a stupid question but hopefully it should be an easy yes or no.

well ive recently blown my 7m (guess how?) and before id had a chance to drain the coolant and oil the cylinders to prevent corrosion I was involved if a car accident which limited my ability to do anything stranuous(spell??). Now the question is in the 8 or so weeks since the BHG is it possible for the engine to seize?

Any answers would be great cos i need to know if i should budget for a complete rebuild or just a fixer uper?

    Thanks Adam

Well if it has a bhg then youll need to be removing the head regardless of its condition otherwise. If you cant see the bores otherwise then once the head is off youll get a good look see on how the guts are.

If it doesnt turn over then id be expecting either a full rebuild or a replacement engine.

remove your spark plugs and turn it over by hand instead, easiest to use a flex/breaker bar on the crank pulley bolt

give it some good arm, if it doesnt budge despite your efforts you might be in some strife

Take the plugs out, put the car in gear and give it a push.
This is the easiest way to turn the engine over

before you turn it over put a cap of oil down each cylinder and let it sit for a while and then crank it by hand that usally does the trick i had the same problem with a 1jzgte and that fixed it good
