TA22 Radiator

Hi,
I have heard rumblings that somewhere there is a thread which makes reference to a replacement radiator for a TA22? Something from the ever reliable Hyundai range?

Anyone verify this? and maybe give me a little more info about the model/year/etc!

P.S. Yes I am after a radiator for a TA22 and dont want to pay the 450$ I have been quoted for someone to build one and not too keen on the 280$ quoted to recore my existing buggered one?

dude just fork out either for the alloy one or re core the existing, fucking around with somthing thats not supposed to work is a waste of time, beleive me ive tried

A re-cored radiator will last you for years, if you use Toyota red coolant. Been using re-cores for years. If done properly there is no problem. and yes you can get a triple core into a TA22 radiator.
