    Default 2jzgte kick down switch

I'm needing a bit of help with setting my kick down switch up properly on my 2jz z20. Just wandering if any of you aristo/2jz boys know how far behind the pedal the switch needs to be located.

    Cheers

i couldnt fit the stock switch under my pedal since most pedals will sit nearly on the floor under full throttle and the stock aristo switch is a chunky motherfucker.

here is how i did it from my members rides thread:

    the large stock switch:

the location on the throttle body i decided to use for a switch:

    the switch and bracket:

switch under full throttle, it is quite easy to adjust:

needs to be remade coz i bent it when playing aroudn with the fake rev limit and a coat of paint but otherwise works very well. the only other thing i would do is add another nut to the bit that hits the switch to make a larger contact area coz sometimes the little cutout bit in the thread hits the side of the micro switch but it still works either way.

Cheers for the info mate. Also do ya know which output on the ecu is the pwr button. And does it need a 12v or ground.

cant remember which wire sorry, i had mos leave it out for me so i knew.

i remember it was black if that helps.

also it needs ground to switch coz i ran only 1 wire to the micro switch and earthed the other side to the throttlebody.
